Over the last four months www.TampaBayFoodTours.com has visited True Food Kitchen Tampa | Midtown Plaza Healthy Restaurant often. We love the convenient location, the philosophy behind the business and mostly the food.
Much has been written about True Food Kitchen's background and I encourage you to do a little research to learn more. Dining hear is an education in eating healthier for all of us.
The covered patio opens to the commons courtyard of Midtown Tampa | A vision to inspire a district. It is a lively area featuring interesting art and space for children to burn off steam in view.
The interior is a bustling space with an open kitchen. All food is prepared fresh and the only thing they use a freezer for is the Vegan and GF ice cream.
The cocktail menu is unique and creative and it is tough to choose just one.
Citrus Skinny Margarita, dulce vida organic blanco, cucumber, mint
You could easily make a meal out of the ample elevated side dishes.
Roasted Brussels Sprouts, mushroom, miso sesame vinaigrette, chili thread
Charred Cauliflower, harissa tahini, medjool date, dill, mint, pistachio
Herb Hummus, cucumber, cherry tomato, onion, olive, feta, lemon oregano vinaigrette & house-made pita
The Korean noodle bowl with your choice of protein is one of my favorites.

Spicy Panang Curry, forbidden rice, sweet potato, broccolini, green bean, carrot, roasted brussels sprout, onion, basil, mint, Thai shellfish curry broth

The excellent dessert options offer some favorite standards and seasonal options.

The mantra of count nutrition not calories does not come at the expense of flavor at this burgeoning new location from True Foods Kitchen.
Midtown is close to having all of the restaurants and businesses open and I encourage you to do your own mini food tour and to be sure to include a stop at True Food Kitchen.
